A place for Family and Friends
The Dieffenbach family has been a fixture in Womelsdorf, almost since its founding. With this newly restored barn, they have the place to keep that tradition going.
Home is what you make it. For the Dieffenbachs, that means having a place that’s comfortable for their family and inviting for their friends. On the property where they are building a new home, a rundown bank barn presented an opportunity.
“We’ve always wanted something with acreage,” Nevin Dieffenbach said. “We found this property that had a barn in disrepair…and we wanted to save it.”
Knowing Stable Hollow as a customer of his propane business and through the recommendation of a friend, Nevin and his family reached out.
“We didn’t know anything about restoring an old barn,” Dieffenbach said. “But Stable Hollow did a fantastic job guiding us through the process.”
Stable Hollow went to work repairing the foundation, repointing the stones, and adding new siding while keeping the original trim. A mix of modern and classic touches created a space both unique and timeless, a place that will be functional and welcoming to family and friends.
Now, they have room for everything from indoor playtime to family celebrations — everything that makes a space feel like home.
